As a spiritual outlier, which simply means I see life differently—through a lens of God’s promises, depth, and purpose. Today, I want to share how you can live intentionally on the building-up side of the coin, no matter what challenges come your way.
Life can feel like a coin toss—one side filled with hope, the other weighed down by fear. But as spiritual outliers, we’re called to live intentionally, always choosing the building-up-side, even when the world sees only giants.
Being a spiritual outlier means seeing life through God’s perspective—looking for the fruit amid challenges. In Numbers 13, Moses sent twelve spies into the Promised Land. They all saw the same land, filled with giants and fortified cities. Yet only two, Caleb and Joshua, chose to focus on the fruit—evidence of God’s promise—while the others let fear dominate their report.
Here’s the truth: life will always have giants, but it also has fruit. God uses challenges to grow something eternal in us. As spiritual outliers, we don’t ignore the obstacles, but we don’t let them define our journey. We choose the building up-side of the coin—not just for ourselves, but as an example of faith for others.
